Well-stocked and clean store, but it's the staff that makes this store great!
Do not buy anything from the Home Depot other than hardware and lumber. Everything else has been so mishandled the product is no good. Numerous product moved with arrow on box wrong way which severely damages product
Extremely friendly staff that went out of their way to help us find what we needed. Brought product down from top shelf and did a price check for us in a timely manner without hesitation. Great Customer Service!
I made the mistake of going back today and again was approached by Solar City while shopping for hardware. I told them I didn't appreciate being bothered while I was shopping and was told they have a contract with Home Depot and can approach anyone in the store at any time. If you don't mind being harassed while you try to shop then this is the place to go. Otherwise you might consider spending your dollars someplace else where your are respected and appreciated as a customer.
BEWARE OF HOME DEPOT!!
This is a very convenient store and always well stocked and great staff willing to help but today while shopping for hardware I was approached by a salesman from Solar City that interrupted my shopping to try and sell me solar panels for my house. I don't mind if they are at the exit but I was frustrated that he would interrupt me while I was trying to shop. I will never buy Solar City and if Home Depot is going to allow outside sales people roam the store and bother me while I am trying to shop I will not give them my business.
They have a lot of the things you need for which you would visit a hardware store. The absolutely biggest problem is getting human help. Home Depot is cutting costs by cutting employees. I went in to get a key made. After looking around for someone near the key machine unsuccessfully, I went to the Customer Service desk. They said they would call someone to the key machine. After waiting 13 more minutes, I just started to make it myself (I have made keys and worked hardware previously, so I knew what I was doing. Interestingly, as I started, someone miraculously and finally showed up. Don't get me wrong ... The employees appear to be VERY knowledge and competent. Just Home Depot is trying to make money by damning service to the customers while overloading employees so that they don't have time to service customers and answer questions about products. There is an Ace Hardware west of this Home Depot about 5 miles and they DO have time to actually provide service to their customers.
