"The stinky Petco". This Petco, unlike the ones in Westminster, Ellicott City, and Columbia, uses a powerful and really awful chemical spray machine that makes it difficult for me to breathe. I try to avoid it but my cats needed food today. The checkout man said it was "better for the animals. They researched it." Better than clean, normal air? I think not. He also said the other Petcos were getting these machines. If so, I'll have to buy pet supplies somewhere else. The bag of food I bought there still smells of the spray. I wonder if it permeated the bag and is in the food.
This Petco is new, clean, and always has the specialty cat treats I buy on a regular basis. The sales people are quick, friendly, and helpful. They watch the lines and will open another register if more than a few people are waiting. It's also conveniently located next to Wal-Mart so I can get all my supplies in one trip.
Entire staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Explained products and services throughly and simply. Eager and enthusiastic to help with our new puppy. Thanks guys!
Joel I’m aquatics is really knowledgeable and clearly loves helping people. The problem is getting someone to serve you. More then once I have gone in wanting to buy fish but had to leave because No one would help me. The worst part is when the employees are talking to each other instead of walking the floor to help customers.
Definitely talking about the one in Eldersburg/Sykesville and not the one in Owings Mills.
